CalATMA Board supports AB 779
The Board of Trustees of CalATMA has voted to support AB 779 which would require licensees to display notice to patients that their place of practice is registered with the California Acupuncture Board (CAB) and allow CAB to pursue remedies for those providers who fail to comply with these procedures. It offers important clarifications which are currently unclear in existing regulations. CalATMA's Board of Trustees believes AB 779 will improve the quality and safety of acupuncture services provided to Californians. No further action is required from you right now, but we may need your active support in the near future.
